The Desert Oasis
The Vision
Situated in the heart of Palm Springs, The Desert Oasis is a tribute to mid-century modernism reimagined for the 21st century. The project focused on creating a seamless transition between the arid outdoor environment and a cool, tranquil interior.
Large glass expanses and natural materials like limestone and walnut were used to create a space that feels both expansive and grounded.

Echoes of the Canyon
The challenge was to protect the interior from the intense desert heat while maintaining a strong visual connection to the surrounding mountains. We designed a series of deep overhangs and internal courtyards that provide natural shade and cooling.
The interior palette was inspired by the desert at dusk—soft ochres, deep sage, and cool greys—creating a calming refuge from the midday sun.
