The Vision

"A curated social space where art, design, and conversation converge in an atmosphere of understated elegance."

Situated in the vibrant SOMA district, this gallery lounge was conceived as a hybrid space—part exhibition hall, part private club. The design emphasizes flexibility and flow, allowing the space to transform from a quiet daytime viewing room to a lively evening venue.

Minimalist forms and a monochromatic palette serve as a backdrop for the rotating art collection, while plush velvet seating adds a layer of comfort and acoustic softening.

Design Narrative

Curating the Void

The challenge was to create a space that felt substantial yet empty enough to let the art breathe. We used lighting as a primary architectural element, sculpting the volume with shadow and illumination.

Custom modular furniture allows the layout to be completely reconfigured for different exhibitions, ensuring the space remains dynamic and responsive to its content.
