The Vision
Located at the foot of the Matterhorn, The Alpine Retreat is a masterclass in thermal luxury and textural warmth. The design team utilized reclaimed timber and local stone to create a space that feels deeply connected to its rugged surroundings.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the iconic mountain peaks, while oversized fireplaces and plush textiles provide a sense of ultimate comfort after a day on the slopes.

Warmth in the Wilderness
The challenge was to maintain a sense of openness while ensuring the highest level of insulation and protection from the extreme mountain weather. We utilized triple-glazed glass and advanced geothermal heating systems.
The interior architecture is defined by its massive timber beams and a central hearth that acts as the spiritual heart of the home.
